My three children have gone to "Kathy's School" at different times throughout the last six years and always begged to get there in the morning. For years later, they still continued asking if they could go to Kathy's School again. Kathy combines nurturing and educating in such a way that makes her special and unique. Kathy's entire family has always made us feel welcome. All young children should be as lucky as mine to have had the chance to be cared for in such a wonderful environment.
Monica B from Bedford -- Mother to M, A and L who is presently in care.

Dear Kathy,
I have always counted you on my list of blessings. You, your home and family, the way you think about your work and the children -- you have created a safe and fun place for S to grow over the last three and half years.
You are a marvel, a gem. I hear about a child care crisis in our country and am so thankful that I have no first hand experience with it. On the contrary, I have always felt S was in the best of hands when they were your hands.
I appreciate how unique you are -- energetic, caring, flexible, fun, creative, tolerant, firm... and to imagine all these qualities in one person. I think it must be hard as a daycare provider to be both business woman and surrogate mother and to do both well; yet you do. You are a master juggler and make it all look easy.
Thank you for all the art work and projects that have gotten S's "portfolio" off to a good start. And most of all, thank you for taking good care of the joy of our life, for nurturing him, having faith in him, loving him, guiding him and helping him understand what it's like to be part of a larger "community". All you have done for S will hold him in good stead for many years to come.

Kathy,
For the best care any three people could have wanted, we thank you.
A is very lucky to have had such a good, fair, loving and attentive provider for these past few years and has turned into a well-developed and loving boy because of you.

Dear Kathy,
Thank you for 5 wonderful years. I appreciate the special gift you have to provide such a positive environment for a child to grow. I appreciated all the extra times you accommodated my crazy schedule and all the helpful things you thought about L along the way.

Dear Kathy
M and I wanted to thank you for everything you have done over the years -- mostly the special and loving way you have taken care of L -- he loves you very much. L is a terrific kid and that is due in part to the loving care you provided and special activities and outings throughout the year. The end of an era. Thank you for everything -- we greatly appreciate all you have shared with us and L.

I just want to say another BIG thank you for everything you have done for us this year. It is obvious that E loves you, and loves going to your daycare while I work, and that you go to so much trouble to make her day interesting and fun. The best thing for me, this year, is that E sees herself as having friends and enjoys that social interaction so much! Thank you!!

Thank you for a wonderful first year at Kathy's House! E obviously loves it, and is thriving. I really admire you for being so patient and gentle with the kids, and for helping them feel so secure and at home.

It is hard to believe that almost 2.5 years have gone by! P and I would like to take this opportunity to express our tremendous gratitude to you for the wonderful care that you provided for A. To know that A was not only safe, but nurtured and challenged was truly a gift, and enabled us to focus on school/work.
Thank you again for your wonderful work. We wish you all the best in your new school year!
